Quinton Banks, Ph.D., is an advisor at the Science Philanthropy Alliance. His extensive scientific background includes research into chronic pain, taste perception, and muscle physiology. Quinton has training in both biological sciences and psychology, providing him with a unique perspective on the human impact of high-net-worth giving.
Quinton joined the Alliance in 2026, coming from the Milken Institute Science Philanthropy Accelerator for Research and Collaboration. He has built multiple scientific funding programs to support different parts of the scientific ecosystem and various funders’ visions. Quinton received his bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College and his doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
