The Leon Levy Foundation, founded in 2004, established the Leon Levy Fellowship in Neuroscience to identify and support exceptional, early career neuroscientists at select institutions as they seek to understand the functioning of the brain and its impact on human behavior. The goal of the program is to help the best young scientists advance their careers toward independent research, and to raise the level of neuroscience research in New York and throughout the world. The Leon Levy Foundation supports the preservation, understanding and expansion of knowledge in The Ancient World, Art and Humanities, Neuroscience, Nature and Gardens, Human Rights and Jewish culture.
