The Alliance has partnered with research universities, independent research institutes, and national laboratories around the world to encourage philanthropic giving to discovery science. Those partnerships have taken a variety of forms over the years—from convenings and roundtable discussions to the creation of institutional funds dedicated exclusively to basic research.

With the Alliance completing a new strategic plan in 2022, we’re taking a fresh look at how to reinvigorate those relationships with an eye toward inclusivity as we help the philanthropy and research communities work together toward their shared interest in discovery science.
